The True Cost of a Real Estate Inspection

If you are tight on money, you need a good inspector. An inspector who has years of experience, is thorough and detailed in the performance of the inspection and in the reporting of the results will provide you with much more information and details on systems such as the:

a) Foundation
b) Roof Covering Materials
c) Electrical Systems
d) Air Conditioning Equipment, etc.

An experienced inspector is much more likely to find indications of problems or failure than is a newer inspector. While no one can foresee all possible problems or know exactly when an appliance or system will fail, the thorough, detailed inspector takes the time to find more problems or indications of problems.

Price is the amount you pay for the inspection and it hurts only for a short time period.

Cost is the amount you pay, possibly for many years, for a cheap inspection.
