STANDARDS OF PRACTICE FOR TEXAS REAL ESTATE INSPECTORS

 

The attached PDF file is the minimum standards of practice that each licensed Real Estate Inspector in the State of Texas is required to follow. These standards were written by a team of nine inspectors that were appointed to serve on a state regulatory board. The Standards of Practice as shown below are effective February 2009. Fred Willcox also wrote the original draft of these standards during his appointment in 1990 to 2000.
